I highly doubt it. Sickle cell only affects blood cells and their ability to hold oxygen.
The only way for it to affect the mind would be for it to significantly reduce the amount of oxygen that was going to the brain, thus causing delirium.
But if that were the case, after a month or so, a baby would die anyways, and would never live to reach Adulthood.
So no, Sickle cell will not mess with the mind, and any case where it does so would be lethal in childhood.
Sickle cell anemia is a inherited blood disorder. This means everyone who has sickle cell has inherited it from their parents. With this in mind it means there was a key ancestor in Africa or the Mediterranean who had the first sickle cell anemia and passed it on to their descendants.
The shape of the cell is misshapen.

ITS GOOD 4 UR SICKLE CELL! When you have sickle cell, your body looses cells. Folic acid helps to create new cells.
A person can only inherit sickle-cell genes if some of their ancestors came from certain regions in Africa where the inhabitants carry sickle-cell genes. A person with one sickle-cell gene has sickle-cell trait, a milder problem. If both father and mother pass on sickle-cell genes, the child, with two genes, will have sickle-cell disease.
No. Sickle Cell is not an infectious disease, but is genetic.
