80% pure silver and 20% other alloys. It makes for a more durable product. Sterling Silver is .925 ie 92.5% silver and 7.5% other alloy. 0.800 silver is the lowest percentage mix that can be called 'Silver'
Silver ions could be detected with the use of a silver ion selective electrode, mass spectrometry, or using certain chemical reactions (ie precipitation when a source of chloride ions is added, complexation using ammonia, etc).
COMPLETE reaction - ALL of the reactants are reacted into different products. INCOMPLETE reaction - NOT ALL of the reactants are reacted into different products. ie. some of the original substance remains.
everything is matter. compound: substance made up of atleast two different kinds of atoms joined together by chemical bonds. ie H2O. Molecules: two or more atoms of the same element joined together by chemical bonds ie. O2 or Cl2. mixtures: a combination of two or more compounds combined together without chemical bonds that can be separated by means of physical separation. ie sea water element: a single atom that has not been combined with anything else. ie. 1 hyrogen atom. hope this is what you ment:)

At normal conditions (temperature, volume and pressure) silve is a solid. It is melted into a liquid to mould it into different shapes ie rings.
Pure gold is 24 carats. 22 carats is 91.6% ie 22/24. Another method of describing gold is by the Fineness, which is given in parts per 1000, hence 916.6 for 22 carat. I assume 91.3% is a typo.
