There is no strong scientific evidence to suggest that sleep learning is an effective method for retaining information or learning new skills. While some studies have shown that information presented during sleep can have a small effect on memory, the results are inconsistent and limited in scope. It is generally more effective to learn and retain information while awake and conscious.

Other factors may include home support, socioeconomic background, and access to resources.
While some research suggests that individuals can learn certain information while asleep, such as new vocabulary or sounds, the effectiveness of this type of learning, known as "hypnopedia" or sleep learning, is still debated among scientists. It is important to note that complex learning tasks or acquiring new skills may not be effectively learned during sleep.
Hilgard's fourteen learning principles were outlined by Ernest Hilgard, a psychologist known for his work in learning and memory. These principles describe factors that influence how individuals learn, such as readiness, effect, feedback, and motivation. They emphasize the importance of understanding learner characteristics and providing meaningful experiences to enhance the learning process.

does evening primrose work for sleep? and is it only omaga 6.
No, you can't learn anything while sleeping. It takes active learning to learn (the word learn is a verb which means you do something). If learning could take place while sleeping I would have done it a long time ago. Sleep can help you learn better a subject. Everytime I have taken on a new subject or task I usually do it all night long in my sleep. Years ago I was learning computer programming and all night long I spent programming in my sleep. This help set what I had learned in my active learning.
I would suggest learning English. ;D
