For a Smith and Wesson revolver in stainless steel that shoots short bullets, you might need a 380 caliber pistol or a S&W 32 caliber revolver.

yes any gun that shoots bullets has shells. A revolver doesn't 'dump' the shells out, they have to be removed by the shooter before it can be reloaded. It is a bit easier to keep track of the empty brass and avoid leaving evidence behind.
