Yes often when a man or woman smokes it causes many side effects not only for the woman getting pregnant but for the fetus Reasons why is when a man for instance smoke The tobacco then is found in the blood stream which also raises the testostrome level Causing the woman to become ill or develop abnormal or cancerious sis on her ovalries or the fetus becoming ill or having birth defects This is why smoking is not good at anytime especially when trying to get pregnant It can cost baby and mom their lives My husband was smoking and I developed a cancerious sis on my ovalries I had to undergo 3 nondeadning surgeries And our daughter was born premature because of it

not necesarrily...my boyfriend and i both smoked...he also drinks alot and smokes weed...i still got pregnant

I don't this increase your chances. I smoked weed and drank for the fives years before I had my first son. You just have to quit like two months before you try to make a baby because its better for them to be created in a healthy body.

well if u do smoke then your baby will have a bad throat but it mostly doesnt so good look with that :]
