No Snuff doesn't get rid of round worms. The best way to do this is either to purchase a dewormer in a Pet store or a large feed store that says it will get rid of roundworms (Piperazine is the one). Weigh your pup, then deworm it according to the instructions on the bottle according to its weight. Be sure to repeat the deworming again in 10-14 days to get rid of the immature roundworms that are now adults. So 2 dewormings needed 10-14 days apart. OR you can take a small fecal sample into your Veterinarian along with your Pup and have your pup checked out plus the fecal sample checked to see if there are other internal parasites. Don't forget about vaccinations needed plus heartworm preventatives & a monthly flea & tick protectant put on topically. Your Vet can instruct you on this plus the best age to spay or neuter your pup.
let it die
You take that puppy to the vet as soon as possible. Maggots usually live on things that are decaying, so the puppy obviously has either an infected wound or has worms.
