while decreasing lithium can increase appetite its not a wise thing to do without consulting your MD and tapering, lithium is a drug that needs to contain a almost constant level in your body,if the levels are off suddenly their can be major side effects including seizures etc.
It is generally safe to donate plasma while on lithium. However, it's important to inform the healthcare provider at the plasma donation center about any medications you are taking, including lithium, to ensure there are no restrictions or complications associated with the donation process.

I have found that taking vitamin e dramatically increased my appetite. While taking this vitamin (Toco-Sorb, 1 soft gel daily & Tocomin, 1 soft gel daily) I can hardly get enough to eat. I am trying to find a way to curb this effect but may have to stop taking the supplement in order to avoid weight gain. Hope this helps.
no you stop growing when your around your parents size at about 15 or 16
I wanted to share this information quoted directly that I found at the following website:http://www.nwmhft.nhs.UK/Pharmacy/mood1.htm"Can I stop taking lithium suddenly?""Absolutely not! It is very unwise and risky to stop taking lithium suddenly, even if you feel better. Recent studies have shown that if you are taking lithium for bipolar disorder and stop it suddenly (ie over 1 to 14 days) you have a 1 in 2 (50%) chance of becoming ill again within six months and a 90% chance of becoming ill again within 3 years. If you need to stop lithium, it should be gradually over at least four weeks, preferably longer i.e. 3-6 months The dose should be decreased graduallyduring this time to minimise possible problems. You've got a lot to lose if you stop lithium too quickly."My interpretation: It does not name what the exact physical effects are, (I suppose they may be different in each individual person), but a chance of relapse seems likely.
An estrogen pill will make your breasts bigger as long as you keep taking the pill. If you stop taking the estrogen pill then your breasts will stop growing.
Your body is trying to adjust from being off the shot. Taking the pill won't stop you from getting your period or make it stop when you are on it. Believe me, if there was something created to stop a period in the middle...I would have found it.
As far as I know its not a lot, the norm is 900 mg, but it depends on your individual chemical make up and whether or not you are on any other medication. It is really important that you take it EXACTLY as your doctor tells you to...if you don't it can be lethal...don't just stop taking it either. If you are afraid of it and stop taking it this can seriously hurt you...you have to be weaned off of it. PLEASE...get on the internet and do research...you should not have anything with a lot of caffiene (soda, coffee, etc) and don't do anything that will make you sweat a lot...this stuff is serious...if you are afraid you can always get another opinion from another doctor!
Don't eat eventually it should just go away.
who are you paying? this site is free.
One reason is that lithium is a stabilizer - that is to say, it makes you feel normal. That works fine for the depressive episodes because the patient otherwise feels worse than normal. However, manic episodes, or highs, can be enjoyable, and returning to "normal" means losing that high.
Dextromethrophan, is the most common cough syrup. It is known to react with lithium carbonate (found in anti depressants or bipolar treatments) to some patients (Not all, don't freak out). If it isn't a cough syrup made of this, than i don't think anything should go wrong, the side effect of it being mixed with lithium shouldn't make you feel anything more than tired (so if your taking the medication and going off to bed, i'd think that is fine). Maybe try some honey?
