Yes, It has the effect of clearing mild iritations and has a disinfecting effect as in a salt water gargle but not as strong. A new salt water system that has become available is even more interesting in that it doesnt use the old sodium chloride but has now gone over to magesium and potasium chloride both of which have definite benficial effects on bothe the skin, muscles and other parts of the body,
well swimming in saltwater is okay because saltwater is like natural water for our bodies. and with Swimming Pools, it has chlorine. all chlorine does is try to make the water as pure as possible. but chlorine has a weird smell and it can damage some parts but not that much.
No, as a mater of fact it is good on the skin, the saline solution in a saltwater pool is just about identical to the amount of salt you find in your tears.

To some degree it is absorbed by the skin; if your internal organs are exposed to chlorinated water whether or not they absorb it is probably not the biggest of your problems.
I've been in the pool biz for over thirty years and I've never heard this question come up. I can only assume that since people use their pools in the summer when the sun is at its hottest the skin darkening comes from the.....sun!
Salt water pools are in fact chlorine pools part of the salt is turned into chlorine by the salt water chlorinater If it works in a normally chlorinated pool it should also work in a salt water pool. However you should check if there is any metallic ingredient like copper in it as these are not recommended in salt water pools.
Shower immediately after exiting from the pool; the best soap to use is probably Lever 2000.

== == SALT WATER POOLS ARE CHLORINATED POOLS. The difference is that the chlorine is added or manufactured automatically -- you do not have to physically add chlorine by hand daily or weekly. You also get a more even distribution of that chemical being added. However, you do have to monitor and maintain your equipment and test the chemicals periodically -- at minimum - weekly because of other chemical factors in water balance. k== == Salt water pools are also chlorinated pools. The chlorinator converts the salt into chlorine and keeps the levels at a constant. The benefit is that you don't have to keep adding chemicals like a traditional pool. We installed a salt pool four months ago and love it. Once you get the levels of salt right it is virtually maintenance free.
