On a 2007 Ford Focus :
Just the automatic transaxle ( transmission ) has a fluid level dipstick
It is in the engine compartment towards the front of the vehicle ( that's not
where I would be looking , but according to the drawing in the Owner Guide
that's where it is )
According to the 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Owner Guide : The automatic transmission does not have an underhood transmission fluid dipstick
There is no dipstick for transmission fluid on these vehicle. You will have to take it to dealer, there is a special tool they use
THere is no dipstick on a 2005-2007 Mustang since Ford considereds the transmission sealed it wont need fluid added unless it has a leak or you are changing the fluid.
Fluid goes in a dipstick tube next to the battery. The dipstick is a special tool that only the dealer has.
The transmission fluid filler is located in the back of the engine compartment on the 2007 Accent manual transmission. You fill it by removing the dipstick.
