No it doesn't
I bought a 2009 accent as well. Found myself asking the same question. I called the dealership and the answer was NO.
There are a couple of ways to open the trunk on a Hyundai Accent. The trunk can be opened by using a key or by using the hood release latch inside the car.
that's a very general ?, but pcm, fuel pump, fuel filter, do u have a chip in ur key?, How do u know ur not getting fuel?
No it doesnt. I had the same question because I needed to get a copy of my key made so I went to the dealership to make sure it didn't and they told me it didn't! Money saved!
The dealer scan tool is required.
There should be a slot on the dash marked passenger airbag. You will have to use the ignition key to turn it on.
From a dealer with the VIN, You will probably have to show proof of ownership.
Buy one Steal one Borrow one Make one 4 Suggestions, get on with it :) If it has an embedded immobilizer chip and you don't have the original, you will need to get one from a Hyundai dealer. If you have the original, a lot of key cutting shops have the ability to clone it. Either way, it's expensive.
No it does not have a chip in the key. www.keylessride.com
Not all Hyundai cars has codes. if there is one, it will be stamped on the passenger's door cylinder. the best way to make a key for this cars is to have a locksmith come and disassemble the cylinders in order to get the right cut depths Locksmith
It could. A gray key does have a chip, a black key does not.
Hyundai dealers should be able to give the key code if you provide the Vehicle Identification Number and proof of ownership.
