Yes. It is listed on their website as one of the ingredients as Niacin (Vitamin B3). Check it out for a full list.
no
That really depends on the energy drink and its ingredients. Under normal circumstances - no. The most commonly available energy drinks do not contain ingredients that would make you fail a drugs test. Be aware though that some energy drinks contain the ingredient "niacin" which in itself will not make you fail the test but is used as a masking agent for drugs by offenders. So sonsuming an energy drink containing niacin could in theory get you under close scrutiny after a drugs test.

I would say an energy dink like monster or 5 hour energy. That would be a smart answer! :)
Energy drinks take awhile to get into your system. Energy drinks can take an hour to get into your system. So if you do, make sure you drink it at least an hour before your athletic activity. Water only takes ten minutes
I emailed 5 hour energy to find out and here's their answer: Thanks for asking about our new commercials. The actor playing the sheriff is James Horan. You can find out more about him athttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm0394533/.
I have been in the same situation, and here is how I got out of it: -Take 2 niacin 500 milligram tablets, and chase those down with a half gallon of iced tea. (no, you don't have to chug it down, but if you drink it in about a half hour the antioxidants in the iced tea will certainly do the job) -You are going to feel a severely painful needle-like sensation in about an hour due to the niacin, so I suggest doing this about a half hour before you go to bed. -The following day, drink about a gallon of water if you can, or a half gallon as the bare minimum. -Take 2-3 more niacin tablets before bed that night. This works to cleanse your system of almost any drug, and results in a clean U.T. Hope this helps!
5 Hour Energy is a privately-held company. Just did an MBA project on Monster Beverage (MNST), and discovered that 5 Hour Energy and Red Bull are both privately held and do not release financial information.
