no it has a distributorless ignition system. it cosists off two coil packs and the ignition control module that sits under them
No
You can't. They have a distributor pack, and not a cap and rotor. a 1.6 eng 93 geo storm has a distributor cap and rotor!!!
try here - seems to match my 93 SL2 manual http://www.differentracing.com/tech_articles/91-95outerpanel.html
You can find a wiring diagram for a 93 Saturn in the vehicle's owner's manual. You can also check with local auto part stores.
Inside the car, near the passenger floor/console area. Eric
Vehicle speed sensor is located on top of the differential on the transmission. Access is from under the car
Get a service manual. Removal of the timing chain cover and head is needed first.
I am up to 217K on my 93 SL2 and going strong. Had very, very few problems with this auto. Expecting it to last 300-350K.
I can't answer about the diagram, but you won't find a cap and rotor...they don't have one. Electronic ignition. Follow a plug wire back. Where you'd expect to find the distributor, you'll find the electronic ignition instead. 93 Chev Lumina APV does have a cap and rotor and also have ignition coils it all depends which factory it was built at. As for Diagrams i find HaynesRepair manual is pretty good.
my 93 sl2 does the same thing. the "center" of the ignition sticks "in" (depressed) when removing key. i always just "pop" it out and the alarm stops.
Yes. But the crank in the 91-92 won't fit the 93+. And the 91 motors are basket cases, avoid them.
The plastic tank on the side of the radiator can be replaced but it would be quicker and cheaper to just install a new radiator.
