Have you replaced your air filter lately? If not, try that, reset the computer by unplugging the battery and see if it clears the code.

no it has a distributorless ignition system. it cosists off two coil packs and the ignition control module that sits under them
well on a 93 exploirer the speed sensor plugs intot he back of the transfer case. dunno if that helps

I am up to 217K on my 93 SL2 and going strong. Had very, very few problems with this auto. Expecting it to last 300-350K.

The speed sensor is in the side of the transmission. This is an easy change, usually requiring only a pair of pliers.
