Yes they eat it with their breakfast, lunch, and sometimes with their soup or as an extra with their dinner.
The Netherlands is a counrty of many cultures at the moment so it is hard to say what the staple foods are. Potatoes are used a lot in Dutch cooking and many vegetables but apart from that there aren't any specific ingredients that Dutch people use lots and lots. Asian and other types of foods are becoming increasingly popular in Holland so that adds more ingredients into the Dutch market each day.
That is different per person, but they usually eat bread for breakfast and lunch (with something on it) and for dinner it can be very different. Ofcourse they eat Dutch food and often a lot of potatoes, but also Italian or Chinese food for example.

eat and break bread .... well, not exactly bread. This is the "matzoh" holiday - unleavened bread (a lot like a cracker). Traditionally we do not eat bread, or anything leavened, for the entire 8 days of passover.

If you eat bread lots an lots that isn't a healthy balanced diet so yes bread is good if you eat it equally as much as other types of food and if you do eat quite a lot of bread it does cause to give you constipation as it blocks you up inside . Hope this helped !
