No it does not, include an ethernet cable or a HDMI cable, the PS3 comes with a USB cable for the controller and the wireless controller, an AV Cable, AC power cord, and the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system with free Play Station Network membership. Some bundled PS3 come with more depending on the bundle package.

β 13y agoNo, PS3 has built in Wi-Fi. You will need to have a wireless router however.
The best internet connect on the PS3 is a wired connection with ethernet cables. The PS3 connection test always shows a better speed with the wired connection over the WiFi connection. It is also the most stable connection as the WiFi connection can sometimes break especially with non password protected WiFi connections.

β 14y agoThe cable is used for a wired internet connection and is not needed for a wireless connection. The cable would plug into the back of a PS3 and into your router or modem to allow internet connection for those who did not have wireless or prefer a wired connection.
