On-site support is provided via internet for the HomeConnect Home Network Ethernet Hub.
The charge is for the internet access if you don't already have internet access. PS3 does not provide free internet it provides free use of the PlayStation Network on the internet. It does not matter if you use WiFi or an Ethernet cable to connect the use of the PS3 on the internet is free, the internet is the same charge to you with or without a PS3.
Connecting to the Internet is usually done through a modem/router. If these do not provide a wireless network then it will need to be wired usually by connecting an Ethernet cable between the router and the computer.
A 4G router with Ethernet can be used to provide a wired internet connection to devices that support Ethernet connectivity. The router connects to the 4G cellular network and converts the cellular data into an Ethernet signal that can be transmitted over a wired connection. This can be useful in situations where a wired connection is preferred or required, such as for gaming devices or network-attached storage devices. Additionally, it can also be useful for providing internet access in areas where wired infrastructure is not available, or as a backup internet connection for businesses.
You must already have an internet service provide and the equipment to provide a WiFi signal or allow an ethernet cable connection. Then you go to network connections on your settings menu see related link
Speaking for experience, saving an ethernet cable will only provide a benefit in the long run. A wireless network is not foolproof and if you should need something when the network goes down the only other option is to use an ethernet cable. This is why you need to make sure to save the cable for any situation where the wireless is down and you have to be able to access the internet.
No the USB ports can not be used for the PS3 to go online according to the PlayStation Network
To connect to a wireless network. This is an alternative to a corded connection via Ethernet or USB.
yes it does i have one and trust me it work Strange that the PS3 network says that the USB ports can not be used to connect to the internet and that's how a cricket works. Wonder who got it wrong. Here's the quote: "Also the PlayStation 3 is unable to connect to the Internet through the USB port, it must be connected via an Ethernet cord or via Wi-Fi network. You will not be able to use a USB adaptor or a cell phone USB adaptor with the PlayStation 3." see related link
A network card (aka. network adapter, network interface card, NIC, etc.) is a piece of computer hardware designed to provide for computer communication over a computer network.
NO If you intend to connect to the internet using wireless then you will need access to a wireless access point, whether it is one you provide or one you use at a business or work location.
For your PS3 connection you need WiFi or an ethernet cable that is connected to the internet. The HDMI cable only connects the PS3 to the HDTV and will not provide the internet connection.
Sort of. Access to the internet is provided by an ISP (internet service provider) and a network technician's job is 1. to determine if your business is able to access the internet and 2. connect the proper cables to provide access to the internet.
