Jewish people serve God. They do this by following the ethics of their religion.
Hanukkah is not a religion. It is a Jewish Holiday. Jewish people worship one God.
There are few people in the Jewish religion compared to others because most people are in religion to the king or almighty God and what Jesus did on the cross he died in.
If you have a religious belief, then you believe you are serving God. No one among the Jewish, Christian, or Muslim faiths believe that they serve anyone but God. To make the argument that they are serving the religion itself is semantics at best. Their beliefs and the actions they take because of those beliefs are how the religious serve God. The goal is to exercise the tenets of that religion in order to serve God.
They didn't preserve their religion. The Bible tells us that time and time again the Jews deviated from what God gave them but God used adversity/opression to bring them back to His ways. So you can say it was god who preserved the Jewish religion.
Jewish worship is done everywhere however their buildings of religion are known as synagogues.
The Jews. (Though strictly speaking, Jews do not believe that God is Jewish or that God has any religion.)
Estimates suggest that approximately 20-30% of Jews identify as atheists or agnostics. This can vary depending on factors like geographic location, cultural background, and level of religious observance within the Jewish community.
God gave the ten commandments to the Jewish people as law. The people became aware just how much they were were personally sinning. When people see their own faults they reach out to God and repent and ask for forgiveness.
Jewish believe in one God
That is a fundamental belief of the Jewish religion. The Torah states that Abraham abandoned idol worship and recognized one G-d.
Israel is 75% Jewish. Jews believe in God. Jesus is not part of Judaism. The Christians in Israel believe in their religion.
God is neither Jewish nor Greek Orthodox nor American Protestant nor...etc. Although God has clearly entered into a covenant-relationship with the Jewish people, religion itself was created by mankind. It is true that God formed the lifestyle of the Jewish people through His constant dealings with Israel. His blueprint for the life of His chosen people helped shape and form many facets within Judaism, but this hardly equates to Him being Jewish. In the classic tradition of mankind, man has taken the pure commandments of God and added, cut and edited to his own pleasing. Sadly, man has polluted most all that he has touched! God has no religion. Jews were one of the first people (if not the first) to recognize the concept of one God and God's connection to ethics, but that does not make God Jewish.
