A kindle will still work if the battery is low, but it is then recommended to turn the wireless feature off (First option after hitting the 'menu' button). After the low battery warning appears on the screen, the kindle can still render dozens of pages if wireless connectivity is turned off. Connecting the kindle to the computer to use the kindle software is not a problem, as the kindle is charged from the usb connection.
my kindle hd 7 didn't come with a mains adapter just micro usb so iv been using mine and it works fine though takes quite a while to charge if you have a problem go to Amazon
Pull the tops of the battery off and pour sterilized water in he open ports. Then charge the battery as normal. If it doesn't hold the charge then you need to replace the battery.
The Battery, if you are meaning electrical charge in a laptop?
that means its charging if its not charging all i got to say is my ipad 2 does the same thing
The battery will drain noticeably faster if the wireless feature is turned on, even if you are not shopping in the kindle store or using the browser. It can be conveniently switched on or off at any time by hitting the menu button. Having wireless on drains the battery but does not really 'wear' the battery down and shouldn't cause any damage. Just turn wireless off when it is not needed or if the battery is running low.
are you sure you have it fully charged? (also i heard that if you buy a new electronic and you unplug it before it is fully charged it will have less full battery usage every charge, so if you unpluged it just after it started charging the first time you might have almost no battery power at full charge)
If it is an automatic charger let it charge until the charger shuts off.
yes it does and it gets my kindle charged forever
Yes, it can.
"The only time the charge battery light goes off is when you press the gas" is the classic symptom of a loose or very well worn belt.
