In order to calibrate the Nintendo DS touch screen the stylus has to be used. Remove all games and turn on the system. Press the A button in order to get the Control Panel to open. Then open the Settings menu and then use the control pad to move the cursor over the cross hairs and then use the stylus each time the square appears on the screen to calibrate.
