It needs to be in your team to receive Exp but it doesn't need to battle. It also needs to be alive.
give it to a Pokemon and put put a Pokemon that isn't holding it in thr team front and the Pokemon that is holding even if it don't battle it will receive some of the exp points from the battle
All you have to do is just put a pokemon (preferrably a level 100, or at least your highest leveled pokemon) in the front of your party, and give the pokemon you want to train up the exp. share. Then it will get a share of the exp. points. The reason you would want a level 100 in front is because then the pokemon holding the experience share will get 100% of the exp.
the Experience share( or Exp. share), gives half the exp. points won in a battle to a pokemon. Example: Torterra and Nidoking are in a team. The battle is torterra vs blastoise, and nidoking is holding Exp. share. torterra beats blastoise, and instead of getting all the points(say 200), torterra splits with nidoking, so they both get half(100).
the exp share lets u get points to the Pokemon that's holding the ex.p share they get double of wat the normal Pokemon got
No it gives the exact same xp as what your Pokemon earn like if you have two Pokemon that fought in the same battle one gets 100 the other one also gets 100 and the one with the xp share gets 200 get it? hope i helped!
you could switch Pokemon in battle then all Pokemon that battled get exp or you could get the exp share and give it to one of your Pokemon
Repeatedly battle the Elite 4 with high level Pokemon with the Pokemon you want to level up holding an exp. share.
trade a Pokemon from another game that is holding exp share to the game that you want it on.
yes, im pretty sure; if the main Pokemon is holding a macho brace.
you battle with it or put exp. share and battle with a different Pokemon
The Exp. share is a held item you can give any Pokemon. Basically you make a Pokemon hold it and it will gain half the experience of every battle as long as that Pokemon is in your party. For example: let's say that one of your Pokemon knocks out a wild Pokemon and gains 100 exp. points. The Pokemon that battled gets 50 of those points and the Pokemon holding the exp. share gets the other 50 without even having to appear in the battle at all. It is great for training weak Pokemon and saves you the time of having to switch between Pokemon.
Increase exp gained to 1.5x. But ONLY for the Pokemon holding it. It might make it 3x normal EXP if it's traded Pokemon. But a traded pokemon holding EXP Share, still only gets 1.5x.
