Yes, all the benefits of Pokerus will still apply, but it won't be able to spread it to other Pokemon anymore.

All you have to do is challenge the elite four consestently. If you havent beaten them yet still consestently battle them. Eventually you will beat them and have high level pokemon. well you can train a traded pokemon, thet get more exp then you oringal pokemon or give a pokemon exp share.
