Yes, all the benefits of Pokerus will still apply, but it won't be able to spread it to other Pokemon anymore.
Every time your Pokemon levels up they receive effort values or stat points.
Hit Points? (Health)
This item boots the exp received in battle. Macho Brace lowers your Pokemon's Speed in half, but raises the Pokemon's basis stat points (Attack, Defence, Special Attack, Special Defence). It has nothing to do with Exp points. I'm pretty sure it half the speed stat while equipped but doubles all evs you get.
Mean look will prevent the other Pokemon from escaping.
hmm, I'd have to say, yes and no. It all depends on how you look at it. If you are trying to EV train a Pokemon, yes, using Action Replay for exp can make your Pokemon weaker then normal. For normal Play, I'd have to say, its fine. I do it, but I only use the Double Exp after battle.
yes a Pokemon with pokerus gains double effort vallue points when it defeats a Pokemon
If u mean the little Smile face in the picture, that means that the Pokemon has had pokerus, a virus that gives the Pokemon double effort points from a battle (good). If that isn't what you mean, i don't know what you are talking about(bad).
The Pokerus is a helpful virus which helps your Pokemon to get stronger more quickly. :) Each time you defeat an enemy, you get special effort points which help determine which stats are most improved upon levelling up. With the Pokerus, these effort points are doubled, so you don't have to defeat as many enemies to get the stats you want improved. Once your Pokemon has recovered from Pokerus (it will have a little smiley face or dot beside its picture) it can never catch it again, but I've read that the benefits of Pokerus stay forever. You should put an infected Pokemon in your computer so you can infect your newcomers in the future. Pokemon don't recover from the Pokerus for as long as they are in the computer :)
No need to worry. Actually believe it or not the Pokerus is actually a good thing in the game. When your Pokemon have the Pokerus they gain double the effort points when your Pokemon are battling. It only lasts about two days before the affect wears off.
I am no expert, though my Pokemon have it, but I know it doesn't do anything bad. I heard that it doubles a hidden stat called EP, or effort points. Please don't ask me what these things do, but they sound pretty good. I hope this answer helps, even if only a bit. :)
whell act ulally there kinda is and there kinda isn't a cure . but i know what to do. you have to train the Pokemon wwith pokerus then after a couple of days there will be a small face on the Pokemon when you look at its information. pokerus is actually a chance to have your Pokemon gain power
Check for sure if your Luxray has PokeRus by checking its status screen. If it has a face (like an emoticon) near its picture and the word 'Pkrs' under 'status', then it has PokeRus. Of course, your Luxray may have just gotten lucky in gaining 5 attack points. Many Pokemon from time to time gain such an ammount of points here and there. It is only when they occur at every level that your Pokemon should have PokeRus. You will not lose PokeRus if you turn your DS off...unless you didn't save the game. The act of turning the DS off will not destroy the virus, but if you leave Luxray out in the party, it will lose the virus in 24 hours. If you wish to keep PokeRus, store the infected Pokemon in your PC. Only when you take it out and not put it back in the PC, does your Pokemon become immune to PokeRus. Also, keeping your Pokemon in the PC does not mean that it will infect every Pokemon in there. The PC is a form of containing the virus. Besides, PokeRus only spreads to Pokemon in the party because the infected Pokemon is taken out to battle.
Pokerus is simply (as the nurse who heals your pokemon will tell u) it's a virus that will actually help your pokemon grow it's a goo thing to spread to other pokemon u have (thru ur party and pokemon boxes)
No, it only increases the amount of experience points obtained by the infected Pokemon. *Experience values (Attack, Defence, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defence and Speed)
Effort points do not exist in Pokemon HeartGold. However, there are experience points. A Pokemon will receive experience points at any time if it has been out in battle at all, but doesn't have to make a move, or is holding the exp. share.
yes but to get it you must get a Pokemon with the lowest level possible.best way to get it though is to make any wild Pokemon u run into, faint, that way if they have the virus, it will jump onto the Pokemon the fought it, also, do not use any proteins or stat upgrades, otherwise it will not affect your party. the pokerus boosts up your pokemons effort points, but if you've maxed it out with proteins or any others, the pokerus will not work. Best way to raise a Pokemon is if...Make it get the pokerus, have it at lowest level possible, don't give it stat upgrades, and make it hold macho brace. That way it will gain 4 times as much effort points. Also, another hint, best Pokemon to fight if you want high Attack and Special Attack would be fighting Rayquaza or Mewtwo, best way to raise up a Pokemon's Defense and Special Defense is by making it fight Registeel or Snorlax. To increase highest HP, fight Chanseys or Blisseys. For highest speed, fight Electrode or Alakazams.
PokeRus infects your Pokemon and helps it gain more Attack, Defence, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defence and Speed points upon levelling up. Thus, it is a benficial virus and aids your Pokemon's growth. The virus is contacted by all the Pokemon in your party if the infected Pokemon in taken out of its PokeBall to battle. PokeRus also fades (causing immunisation) after your Pokemon has been left in your party for over 24 hours. To keep it (and keep it contained), store the infected Pokemon in your PC.Pokerus is a virus that raises the pokemon's stat, and in a battle it has a 1 out of 3 chance that it will spread it to all of your party.
