As with any organisation or company, publicity is always welcomed. In many countries - in fact, in most countries - St John Ambulance is not funded by the government. It must rely on public donations and patient part-charges to deliver their service.
Having more publicity would certainly improve the public's awareness of the work St John does in the community.
