This was one of the things I was curious about when purchasing my new slim Xbox 360. You may know that with the older versions of the Xbox 360, it included a code inside the box which gave you a months free free trial of Xbox LIVE.
However, this has changed with the newer slim consoles, including ones with Kinect. You are not given a code within the box, instead you are offered a one months free trial when creating an Xbox LIVE account on your new console.
So, if you already have an Xbox LIVE account, you will not be given free Xbox Live when purchasing a Xbox 360 Slim. To get a free trial you will have to create a new account on your console, were it will be offered to you after declining a payment for Xbox LIVE gold membership.
Kinect is add-on for the Xbox 360, not a console.
Xbox 360 slim is the new improved version of the xbox 360 and kinect is a mothion sensor camera comping out for it.
No, Kinect will function on any xbox 360 console with sufficient memory.
Yes. But if you have an old (not slim) XBox, the Kinect will need a separate power adaptor
That depends on if you buy it as a deal package, if you do, the price of kinect/the xbox is reduced due to the deal.
The Xbox 360 Kinect comes with it.
you can trade an xbox elite into game and get half price of the new xbox360 ! but you cant trade it and get a free one.
yes so does the xbox 360 slim 250GB. and kinect
"Kinect" does work well with the 4gb xbxo 360 slim, there is a bundle out right now for 300 that comes with 4gb slim xbox360 and kinect and a game for kinect. I would probably still go for the 250gb console if you are wanting th whole xbox gaming and xbox live experience. Hope this helped!
The Xbox slim is the upgraded version of the Xbox 360. It is still an Xbox 360, just smaller, with added features like the Kinect.
July 6, 2010: There is no official name for the new Xbox 360, but Kinect is an add-on for the Xbox 360. However I'm not sure if Kinect will work for the "old" Xbox 360 and only the new Xbox 360.
no. mine is anciant
