Yes, the TX valve is an integral part of the air-con system, and thus is pressurised. TX valves are about $40AU trade, probably $60AU retail. Best to get the receiver drier changed at the same time if you haven't had the air-con serviced in the last 2 years. Leave it to the experts - there's no real cheap way out of this one, you could have other underlying problems too. The air-con experts have the right guages + tools to check out possible leaks. Hope this helps you out. Dave.
the expansion valve it's located inside the line of the A C bottle, but if you open the bottle wish is located on the lef side under the hood , you will need to replace the bottle bacause the system can"t have air inside. you will need to have the system vacumed anf fill by an ac mechanic before you do this you need to take out all the freon of the system and then proceed with tha above
Realley need to no what your working on and the year.
Did you bleed the air valve? if you open any part of the cooling system on a dodge intrepid, ie: change the radiator hose or thermostat housing. You need to bleed the air out the Valve. If not the car will over heat.
Your meaning is unclear. Your system will already have pressure switch, -why would you need a pressure valve?- or are you unaware of the difference between a valve and a switch.
no.
u need remove cylynderhead then camshaft then rockerarms then use a valve spring compressor then change your valve rubbers.
from what i have been told you don't need to change the valve you just need to get it cleaned. It gets filled with carbon after a time. Try to get it done be for you go for the etest and you will pass. This will also save you a bit of money.
you should only change the gasket if you have to take the valve cover off....... you should only change the gasket if you have to take the valve cover off.......
The freon has to be removed and the pressure released from the ac system. Then the valve can be removed and replaced. The system will need to have a vacuum pulled and freon put in again.
To change the flame on a Bunsen burner you need only to open or close the air valve to change the combustion reaction.
what is a proportional valve. have a 1992 dodge Dakota and it needs a new one I am told. need a schematic diagram of a braking system to locate it.
You need to have your check valve replaced.
