Yes, of course.
The Catholic Church, the Anglican Church, the United Church, & possibly the Orthodox Church.
Acts 2:38 states that a person needs to repent and be baptised in the name of Jesus, and then they will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Receiving the Holy Ghost is evidenced by speaking in tongues. Once a person receives the Holy Ghost, then they will go to heaven.
I believe I have a chance to go to Heaven because I have lived a good life and I go to church and Lakeside and I also believe that Jesus was born on Christmas and he died on the cross to save my sins and then he rose from the dead on Easter.
The reason does not matter, you will go to hell if you commit suicide. That is if you believe in hell or heaven, that's just the Church's rules.
The Seventh-day Adventist church doesn't believe that you go to heaven or hell when you die, but when Jesus comes the wicked shall be destroid and the righteous go to heaven. The Seventh-day Adventist church also believe in Ellen G White as their prophetess. SDA's also abstain from unclean foods.

Pentecostals (everyone needs to) repent, be baptized in Jesus Name, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and the speaking of other tongues... you need to do this to get to Heaven... There are also Apostolic Pentecostals they believe in repent, be baptized in Jesus Name, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and the speaking of other tongues... you need to do this to get to Heaven. (same as above except) we wear skirts and DONT CUT HAIR. We obey everything the bible tells us to do, weather god demands it or just asks. .... (I am Apostolic Pentecostal so I know)~ Apostolic churches don't believe in the Trinity, (Father Son, Holy Ghost) Pentecostal churches do. The difference is the belief in the Trinity. Also Apostolic baptized in Jesus name only. Pentecostals baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost............ not all pentecostals teach you have to have the holy ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues to go to heaven, some teach its good to have that but not necessary for heaven...but all apostolic pentecostals do teach this. there are manhy differences even amongst the individual denominations whether apostolic or just pentecostals.....also FYI---there are apostolic denominations which are not pentecostal at all.
I go to church because of my beliefs. I believe that Jesus is the one and only God and that one day, I will be in Heaven, right next to Him. Also, Christ has promised that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but will have everlasting life.
sure kid pets go to heaven... its all whatever you believe in.... sure kid pets go to heaven... its all whatever you believe in....
The only major difference is that Protestants believe if go to heaven you go straight to heaven. Catholics believe for most people you have to go to purgatory before you go to heaven.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and have never heard any doctrine, read any scripture, or seen any Church material that claims that a husband can choose whether or not his wife will go to "heaven". Also keep in mind, the "Mormon" view of heaven is very different than the traditional Christian view of heaven. I guess some women might believe that, but that is not a belief of the church as a whole. We believe that any person will make it to heaven based on his or her own personal choices, and the atonement of Christ. None of it is based on whether or not some other human thinks we made it or not. If the husband isn't doing the right things, and the wife is, he can't keep her from heaven.
There will be Mormons, Jews, baptists & Muslims in hell. I don't believe that anyone practicing faith sincerely will go to hell. Just as there are many languages, i believe god speaks to different people in different ways and grants them different experiences with him.
