there is none. It just stores beacteria. Doesn't store, produce, or relase any enzymes,

I wouldn't be to quick to accept that orevious answer. Anyone who has had their appendix removed and developed celiacs type symptoms, gluten intolerance, etc. are acutely aware that the appendix plays some role in digestion.

the appendix does not have enzymes which is why we can not digest fibre,it does not play a vital role in our body
