Does the birth control patch fall off?
No. If you apply it correctly and keep lotion and oils away from that area. Taking a bath/shower and doing daily activities are safe.
If your patch keeps falling off, the estrogen level in your body could drop since you're not getting the full dose of birth control, and you could have bleeding. Consider using the morning after pill if you've had sex in the last five days, and contact your health care provider about an alternative method. In addition, if you choose to stay on the patch, get a prescription from your health care provider for a single…

Can you use the patch to move ovulation... My boyfriend in the service is on leave only for 2 weeks and we will miss ovulation. I told him I would try to find a way. We're off by 5 days. Any ideas?
If you are on the birth control patch and then stop, you'll ovulate two to four weeks afterwards. The timing of ovulation is unpredictable. I think you're confused on this point; the fact that you say "we're off by 5 days" seems to indicate that you think you ovulate on a schedule on the birth control patch. Is there a problem if you take off the birth control patch 2 days before the normal day you usually take it off and you haven't had sex in 4 days?
it is unwise to do that. The patch only has enough hormones to protect you from pregnancy for 7 days, 8 days TOPS, so if you leave it on for 2 weeks you are not protected from pregnancy during the second week. Plus it will probably fall off during the second week as it is not designed with enough "glue" to remain on the body for longer than a week.
When you are using the patch and have your "Week off" period week. You take it off as you normally would and then wait. It can be a few months for your peiod to return but you can get pregnant even before you get your next period. So use protection even if you want to get pregnant (easier for figuring out due date) You may notice "symptoms" of being pregnant as your body gets used…
