absolutely not

The constitution gives the federal government the responsibility to protect our rights, not take them from us.

No where does the constitution give the power to the federal government, the authority, to assert the powers that they have taken on themselves. The commerce clause is meant to promote trade between the states, not control all things ( what we eat, we drink, we buy, we sell, we own, we do, how we earn a living, how we educate our children, or how or where we live or demonstrate our faith).

The citizens of this nation have been asleep or lulled into some state that has allowed this to happen over decades. More and more the governing bodies have taken away our freedoms.

It is unconstitutional and totally contrary to the concept that the power and authority resides in the hands of the people, unless expressly granted to the government.

All power and authority is inherent in the citizens of this nation and that was given to the people by our Creator - God.

BIG DEAL, VERY BIG DEAL.

We are the only nation on earth where the people created the government with that concept clearly stated. All other government hold all power and give some rights, which ever they choose, to their citizens.

We are sadly slipping into a totally alien form of government, more akin to the rest of the world.

We are enormously privileged to live in a land where each individual is presumed to have all rights granted to him by God. From that concept comes enormous freedom. And with that freedom comes enormous responsibility.

We need to educate ourselves, our children, our neighbors, stand up and speak up. And in the end we must assume the authority of running/demanding that our representatives do our bidding, not their own. With citizenship and freedom comes responsibility. It is an awesome responsibility.

We must stand up again and again for Our Rights, and be willing to sacrifice Our Lives, Our Fortunes and Our Sacred Honor, just as our founding fathers did.
