Most likely if your antenna will not come up on your 1986 Corvette, it is probably due to a technically issue , such as the stereo is wired wrong. Or it could just be that it is stuck down from sticky goo. It could also just be broke in general.
if its automatic then just plain Jane ATF
I just took a quick look at the Subaru Web site, which is where you should go. I see no such vehicle as a "Forester Sti". With that in mind, no, it does not "come in automatic."

Stingray is a model of Corvette. like Mustang is a model of Ford,
You can do anything you want with money but it would be much cheaper to just buy another escort that is a standard shift.
It can be done but it would not be cost effective. Better just purchasing another 1995 Escort with a standard transmission.
Assuming you have an automatic, suspect low trans fluid level. If it is a standard, the clutch is slipping.
If it is 4WD, put put the transfer case in Neutral, leave the automatic in Park or standard trans in gear. If it is 2WD, automatic would have to have driveshaft disconnect, standard trans just put in Neutral.
It doesn't work for all device, only for standard ones. If you have a standard type device then just follow instractions, choose automatic and OS will fine it. If it didn't work you will need a driver. Which you can find on manufacture website. Usually it has instructions.

It doesn't have gas pedal problems because the standard transmission use a cable just for the clutch not for the gas pedal. That question just apply in automatic transmisiion. I hope this help
