Is current a scalar or vector quantity?

It depends upon the condition. But basically, to be a vector, the physical quantities needs to follow vector algebra.but current dos not follow it so it is scalar quantity.

Do you think Christmas lights are example of parallel or series bulbs in a circuit?

Parallel, of course. Each light has to receive the full voltage - 110 or 220 Volts, depending on the region. Also, if you disconnect one light, the others should continue working. This wouldn't be the case with a series circuit.

Use the word despite in a sentence?

despite can be a connective or you can use it at the start of a sentance. For example: This is very good homework despite you got it yesterday.hope this helps :)

Why does current flow so fast?

That is related to the fact that the electrical forces are basically transmitted at the speed of light. This allows the current in a wire to travel at about 2/3 the speed of light in a vacuum, despite the fact that individual electrons move much slower than that (and the drift speed of a current is typically less than a millimeter per second). What happens here is simply that one electron (or other charge-carrier) transmit the energy to the next one, via electrical forces.

If a negative current enters a negative voltage will it be negative or positive?

A current is never concidered negative. The current will always flow from a higher voltage to a lower. For example:12 -> 0V as 12V is a higher potential than 0V. The current is measured in Ampere.0V -> -12V as 0V is a higher potential than -12V. The current is measured in Ampere. Not negative Ampere despite the fact that it floats from the 0V potentialAnswerThe term 'negative', in the sense of 'polarity', doesn't apply to either current or voltage (potential difference), although it does apply to potential -so, the previous answer should read that current 'flows from a higher potential to a lower potential', not 'from a higher voltage to a lower voltage'.However, we do use the terms 'negative' and 'positive' in the sense of 'sense' or 'direction'. So, when we talk about a 'negative voltage', what we mean is a voltage that is acting in the opposite direction to another voltage -for example, if we consider the direction in which a battery's voltage (E) to be acting to be 'positive', then any resulting voltage drop (V) will be acting in the 'negative' direction -i.e. E - V = 0 (i.e. the algebraic sum of the voltages around that circuit is zero). In the same way, we can describe current as being 'positive' or 'negative' in the sense of its direction. For example, if one current (I1) is approaching a junction, and two currents (I2 and I3) are leaving that junction, we can write: I1 - I2 - I3 = 0 (i.e. the algebraic sum of the currents at that junction is zero).Unfortunately, this doesn't specifically answer your question which, unfortunately, is rather confusing and needs to be rephrased.

Is Korea dangerous?

No, not necessarily. The two countries are very different, but reasonably safe, despite the current issues there.

Do you can connect a multiplier resistance is series despite a shunt resistance in parallel in ammeter . and why?

An ammeter is connected in series in a branch of the circuit carrying current, and measures the current in that branch. The resistance of the meter must be very low ... ideally zero ... in order to avoid influencing the circuit when it's installed. If you intentionally insert a resistance in series with the meter, then inserting the meter in a circuit changes the current in that branch. In general, it's not acceptable for the act of measuring to change the quantity being measured, unless you are closely related to Werner Heisenberg..

When do you use the word Despite?

The word despite has the same use as the phrase "in spite of". It is used where an action or result occurs that was to be avoided, or where an action takes place even though it is not the ideal. Examples: "Despite the efforts of the firemen, the house burned to the ground." "We will finish the project despite the current lack of funding."

A piece of art can be successful even though the person critiquing it may not personally like that piece?

True, a piece of art can be successful despite what a critic says about it since art is subjective.A piece of may still be successful despite critiques because art can mean different things to different people.

What do the actions of the narrator's family show in the reading in The Circuit?

Why should ammeter still be connected in a series despite the fact that the bulbs are already connected in parallel?

Because the ammeter connected in parallel will act as a short circuit.

False. The United States is the best country ever, despite our current financial status.

What is a synonym for despite?

The antonym for Despite certainly is not "in spite of." That would be a synonym. As would be "notwithstanding." The opposite of despite would be closer to because of, or on account of.

At low voltage cable a short circuit was done in it and fire was done and despite of that the fuses did not operate at the low voltage side at the transformer why that was happened?

This occurs, when a conductor starts arcing to ground or another conductor, the current draw is not enough to blow the fuse or trip the breaker. The arc however is hot enough to start a fire. This is the reasoning behind the new Arc-fault breakers.
