In this case, the nucleus is about 7,444 times as massive as the electrons. As we move up the Periodic Table, the figure gets even more lopsided.

That's mind boggling. The answer varies. for example, if you have some insane element like radon, then the nucleus does not take up most of the atoms structure. If you have something simple like hydrogen, then the nucleus is almost the entire atom.
