remove axle nut in center of wheel before jacking it up then raise and support vehicle on stands and remove front tire then caliper and rotor then rotor mounting bracket remove bottom ball joint from the front spindle and you should be ready to pull the axle out then just reverse these steps to reinstall. hopefully this helps you
Remove the plastic front and it will be visible just under the right side headlight. Lodged in the washer fluid container.
Remove OSF wheel, secure vehicle on axle stands, now remove the inner wheel arch cover, which is secured by trim clips which are removed with a screwdriver and long nose pliers. On the forward edge of the wheelarch is a no 20 torx screw, there also two more under the front bumper, remove these and remove inner wheel arch cover. You can now see the washer bottle at the front of the wheel arch. you can just about get to the washer pump, but it is a lot easier to remove the 10mm bolt that secures the innermost side of the washer bottle from within the wheelarch, the washer bottle will now have some movement and you can now easily pry out the pump from the grommet, remove the hoses and disconnect the electrical supply. instal new pump and reverse above to replace
The axle nut looks like it has a retainer on it but it's just a part of the nut! put a wrench on it and turn it off!
Just pull it out. There should be nothing holding it in the differentail after you remove the locking hub and the hub.
I have the manual, and in it it just says to remove the front axle then drop the pan to remove it :( lol Those are the steps, you have to remove the entire front axle assembly to remove the oil pan.
No. just remove the calipers
Underneath, just in front of the rear axle.Underneath, just in front of the rear axle.
jack the bike up, and place a block under it so the front wheel is off the ground. First you must remove the brake caliper, and disconnect the speedo cable, then just loosen the axle nut, remove axle, and roll the wheel out front ways
1. Raise Motorcycle so front wheel is just raised off the ground. 2. Inspect wheel bearing end play and service bearings if necessary. 3. Remove brake caliper. Support caliper using a rubber bungee cord. NOTE Do not operate front brake lever with the front wheel removed or the caliper piston may be forced out of piston bore. Reseating the piston requires disassembly of the caliper. 4. Remove axle nut, lockwasher and washer. 5. Loosen the slider cap screws and pull the axle free. 6. Remove wheel from forks.
You can take the hub and shaft out at the same time with out removing the nut. just remove the wheel bearing hub assembly bolts (should be three) and then pull the hub assembly out, they will stay together.
remove the bolts holding the fender skirt in place under the left front fog lamp. the pump is in the bottom part of the washer fluid tank and just snaps in place.
