no, it doesn't. If your fuel pump has failed, check the fuse box under the bonnet. You will find a fuse for the fuel pump in there. If the fuel pump still doesn't work then you are up for another pump. I do know that they are very expensive but i just used a second hand pump from a younger model & it works fine.

If it runs with starter fluid, it means it is firing but not getting fuel. it could be anything from the fuel pump relay in the fuse block under the hood, or it could be the fuel pump gone bad. If it is the fuel pump its a $250 part located under the rear seat. good luck
no- 1998-2000 Chevy Venture vans only have a relay for the fuel pump and no fuse.
