yes, other wise you might swallow the gauze, do not eat and chew anything unless the bleeding has stopped and the pain subsided, some soup is best when you are hungry and leave the actually eating and chewing for the next day.

∙ 12y agoIt would be better if you took them out before you eat because then the food particles could get caught in the gauze and that could cause an infection because they aren't clean.

I have braces and my wisdom teeth came through and my otho hasn't done anything to them.
