Why does it always seen that a newborn baby wont sleep? well you could gently rock the baby either in your arms or a rocking chair. soft music could also lull them to sleep. another trick ive found helpful was put them in there bed, and let them cry for a little bit, after about 10 minutes they should fall asleep
She will cry if she is hungy she will also cry if she is sleeply she will also cry if she is scared she will also cry if she is pinched and if she need to be changed and burped and held and when she takes a fall
I just saw this on a Growing Up segment on Animal Planet, the baby Giraffe is very flexible and comes out slowly up to the midsection so the important parts dont have as far to fall, if the mother gets tired and sits down however the baby can be crushed.

Depends on how old the baby is. If the baby still has the umbilical cord attached a small piece of gauze with alcohol on it wiped gently around the edges. If the cord has come off but the area is still raw leave it alone until it scabs and let the scab fall off on its own.
