I was actually looking that up too... I took Plan B a little over a year ago and since then I have had significant hair loss, although I have had lots and lots of stress in my life as well, so I don't know if it was that, which I took just the once, the two pills, I also have Hypothyroidism and take Levothyroxine, and with all these things I really don't know what to rule out. Either the f'n family (sister and brother-in-law) causing this horrible nightmare stress that affected me like this or a combination of them and life's events also brought on by them.... as you can see and I kind of agree that it is mainly stress for me. But it can also be Plan B or Thyroid or any other weird ass pills out there, it's a messed up world now. I'm 26 year old female, and I have noticed too many young and old women losing hair nowadays.
NEW USER: Hi, I'm a 28 year old female and I have had to take Plan B twice, and have experienced significant hair loss after both instances. The first time was 5 years ago just after I had gotten off the pill. I got off the pill because I was concerned that it had triggered severe hair loss. I was diagnosed with alopecia areata after taking Plan B just the one time (and am convinced it was the hormone dosage in the pill), because I had so much hair loss. I've been off any type of hormone/pill since then, and in the last year have recovered all my hair - in fact, it grew back as thick as it was before I ever started taking the pill. Sadly, I had to take Plan B a month ago, and have had more hair loss in the last 3 weeks than ever in my life. I am terrified that this medication is re-triggering my alopecia and have absolutely no idea how to repair the damage this time around!

Not all forms of chemotherapy can cause hair loss. Many have the potential for hair loss, but it is not a guaranteed side effect. For example, there are two kinds of chemotherapy, Aromasin and Tamoxifan. they are both pill form of chemotherapy and do not normally cause hair loss.

i doubt anything will work as a substitute to the morning after pill, i suggest you go asap to your gp get a prescription for the mornign after pill or just go to your parmacy and get the morning after pill.
