Yes. Dry mouth causes your nervous system to shut down porduction and can be equated to taking cyanide.
I think what you meant to ask is "is dry mouth caused by saliva production being stopped?"
And yes, if saliva production is stopped, you would suffer a dry mouth, but the converse of that, the question you asked, means you would have to suck on a wet sponge at times to avoid dry mouth.
Well, I believe there's some sort of pump included in the nervous system. If that pump shut down, you'd die instantly, so you'd die instantly if the systems shut down. It's also highly unlikely that the digestive system would "shut down", as it begins in the mouth.
they both deject changes in the stomach and body! hope this helped!! :)
The nervous system is divided into two major parts called the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain and spinal cord, and the peripheral nervous system (PNS). The peripheral nervous system is broken down into the somatic nervous system and the autonomic nervous system. Scientists further divide the autonomic nervous system into the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system.

it can be changed by letting your nervous system come down by telling someone what your nervous or by stop being nervous.
The nervous system
A drug that slows down the activity of the central nervous system is called a depressant. Examples of depressants are Xanax, Librium and Amytal.
Nervous system, muscular system, and resPiratory system
CNS is brain and spinal cord. PNS are the sensory and motor neurons. The PNS breaks down further into the autonomic and the sensory-somatic nervous system The autonomic breaks down further into the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
The Sympathetic and Parasympathetic nervous systems are the divisions of the ANS. The sympathetic is where "fight or flight" comes in, and the parasympathetic is what calms us down afterward -- they work to balance each other.
