Its official name is the Subway. It is occasionally known as the Clockwork Orange (but less so now that the trains are no longer painted orange).
It was called Clockwork Orange after a film of the same name. The trains are smaller than normal underground trains, and were coloured orange as their corporate colour for some time until the early 2000s.
Glasgow Rangers were pledged to the Masonic Cause by John Ure Primrose after he took control in 1912. From 1920, Glasgow Rangers, who had won only eight trophies and titles since their inception, went recruiting in both the Masonic Lodge and the Orange Lodge and were only stopped when they were caught stealing tax from the queen, who Rangers claimed was their most famous fan.
I don't know how many will be on parade this year, but last year (2009) there was around 90 bands and 8,000 marchers. News said around 100,000 people was in the city taking part and watching the parade.
