To program a remote key for a 2003 Mazda MPV, first, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. Next, press and hold the "Unlock" button on the remote while simultaneously turning the ignition key from "On" to "Off" and back to "On" two times. Release the "Unlock" button, then press the "Lock" button once to finalize the programming. The locks should cycle to indicate successful programming.
