low pitched if it isn't obvious! The Saxophone is very high pitched and it sounds like a little girl screaming at the top of her lungs but the bass saxophone is very very low it sounds like somebody is like woooooow very slowly and loudly at the same time
The saxophone is a unique instrument because it is classified as a wood due to it's reed, but it primarily composed of copper, brass, or metal. There are different types of saxophones, and they have different ranges. The saxophone family as a whole has a large range that is bigger than any of the other instrument family ranges. Each saxophone though has a decent range too. The contrabass, bass, and Bari saxophone tend to play low notes. The tenor and Alto Saxophone tend to play slightly low to slightly high. The soprano and sopranino play extremely high notes.
It depends on what type of saxophone you are talking about. I play tenor and Baritone Saxophone and they are both low pitch. But my teacher plays suprano and alto sax which are high pitch.
It's a low pitch.

A pitched instrument is an instrument with pitch (high and low notes).

A tuba is a low pitched instrument. It uses the bass clef also.
A trombone is a bass instrument, playing in the bass clef, making it a relatively low- pitched instrument.
It can be either, depending on how well you can play it. In general, a Trombone is a bass instrument, playing in the bass clef, making it a relatively low-pitched instrument.

A trumpet is a brasswind instrument. A lot of the time it plays melodies similar to clarinets and flutes so sometimes it plays lower notes, but in jazz, the trumpet can play really high notes if you can play higher than the C above the staff. So, technically, its both.
A flute has a high pich and a sorta low pitch. Low C or B on flute and pro flute are pretty low but high C on flute is REALLY high, but mostly it is high. If you want a really high instrument try the piccolo. If you are really good at flute go on the piccolo. Ihope I answered your question.
