A:This is a question of faith, not fact. A Christian may believe either that the non-Christian will be judged on the life he or she led, going to heaven or hell as a result, or that non-Christians are destined for hell. Cardinal Pell, one of the Catholic Church's leading clergy is one whose stated view is that it is not necessary to be a Christian to go to heaven.

The non-Christian will in both cases believe otherwise. Followers of other religions are reincarnated or receive whatever reward their religion prescribes, while atheists cease to exist when they die.

What are demonds and spirits?

There are spirits and demonds. A demond is an "angel "of Satan (the devil). They I have seen and felt and heard in my house. Luckly, if you are a Christian you can just ask out loud "God please send these demonds away from me" . I have experianced his comfort afterwards and it is amazing. If you feel like someone is watching you and you know there is something there and you are scared then that is a demond. That's when you ask God to send them away. If not a Christian then that is too bad but all I can say is i lay on my back when I am scared. Now a spirit is not necisaraly EVIL. You have a spirit in you which is you. The after life is where your spirit goes when you die. If you don't believe in God and do not do enough good deeds you go to Hell. If you believe in god and do good deeds you go to Heaven. That is a spirit.

Does god look like jesus?

Well...I would have to go more in depth for you to understand. We are made in God's likeness and just like how we have a soul spirit and image(body), so does God! God's soul = the father, spirit = Holy Spirit, image = Jesus. The soul, spirit and body makes up one being, just like how our soul spirit and body make our being. If you didn't have the image(body) you wouldn't have any identity (if you know what i mean) and if you didn't have a soul you wouldn't have feelings, emotions etc etc. So nothing should lack. Still, your spirit is YOU, our image is YOU, and your soul is YOU. Same with God, His spirit is GOD, his image is GOD and his soul is GOD - and altogether they are God, just like your soul spirit image altogether is you. I hope you understand what I'm saying. So anyway, back to the question, if you mean that does Jesus look like the Father, no He doesn't. The Father (soul) is invisible. Collosians 1:15 "He is the image of the invisible God". Well I hope you have a better understanding of the trinity and of the image of God etc! Answer Yes, Jesus looks very much like God--on a spiritual level.

Why is the holy spirit god?

After Jesus was crucified and he arose again, he had told the disciples that he would send the holy ghost in his place as a comforter and guide. The scripture says the Holy Spirit is God. Scripture never differentiates between ones spirit and ones-self. For a specific scripture reference go to Romans 8:1-27. In this section of scripture you can see that "God," "The Spirit" and "Christ" are interchangeable.

Is God a spirit?

Yes God is a spirit. God is also God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ. All three in one are known as God. Explanations fail me....it's a faith thing!I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. They all are the same in PURPOSE?(just as my husband and I are considered one), but Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings. The restored Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us that God made us in his own image. That Jesus Christ is his first-born son. That the Holy Ghost is a comforter and testifies to us the truthfulness of the gospel. If you have more questions you can go to www.lds.org .When God is discribed as a spirit, it means that God has no physical form or shape. That God's spirit can be in different places at the same time.Yes, God is Spirit. To worship Him and please Him you must Worship in Spirit and in truth.

If Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit then why was he called Son of God and not Son of the Holy Spirit?

When we look at this question; If Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, then why was He called the son of God and not Son of the Holy Spirit? we must first find out who and how the 3 characters in this question were and are. In the Holy bible it talks about God the father, God the son (Jesus Christ) , and God the Holy Spirit as one. As humans we may find this hard to get a complete idea on this, so let us not go into that. If the bible says this, then i Guess the question is asking about names, and not by actual characters. in answer to your question, if we refer to the times when Jesus was around, they hadn't really heard of the Holy Spirit, yet they had heard of God, and were more familiar with Him.
