It isn't.

Taurine is a chemical, an Amino acid, that can be found in bull semen. And in bile, ANd some other places.

However, all taurine that's commercially used is synthetic, made in chemical factories.

Taurine is an amino acid. And it's indeed found in semen. And bile. And some other tissues.

But it's far cheaper to MAKE it than to extract it from animal tissues.

So no, bull sperm, testicles or urine has NEVER been the source for commercial amounts of taurine.

No. Taurine is a natural aminoethanesulfonic acid, and thus has nothing to do with bull semen, sperm or anything of that nature.

Is red bull bull pee?

No. This is an urban legend. Red Bull energy drink contains taurine, a sulphuric acid. This acid was first isolated from a bull's bile in 1827 by German scientists. This is the source of the urban legend. Taurine is added because it is believed to be an energy source for some people. Given that this drink is supposed to be for energy, it is more likely that any "energy" is derived from the caffeine and sugar present in the formula than from the Taurine.

Why did Europe ban taurine?

Europe hasn't banned taurine. In fact, a study by the European Food Safety Authority in 2003 found no adverse effects for taking 1,000 mg of taurine per kilogram of body weight. Perhaps you are thinking of energy drinks, in which taurine is used. Although, the EFSA has also concluded that the amount of taurine in energy drinks (such as Red Bull) is safe. Red Bull is illegal in France, Denmark, and Norway because it is regarded as a medicine due to the amount of taurine present. Even further so, France has banned the sale of energy drinks with any amount of taurine.

Is taurine bull pee?

Kind of. It's a an aminoethanesulfonic acid found in bile in the lower intestine and also in animal tissue. It can be found in lots of animals, including humans. However, the taurine used in energy drinks is a synthetic.I don't think so. I looked up the meaning of the word "taurine" and it said "of or like a bull; bullish." I think the drink Red Bull (an energy drink) contain taurine. I doubt if they would put bulls urine in a drink, and if they did there would surely be a large number of complaints to the health and safety department.ajh1357@AOL.com answer: actually taurine derives from the word Taurus which means bull and the reason they called it that is because scientists found it in bull bile and extracted the ingredient and they found that it has many health uses such as weight loss and to help fight fatigue and that's why its found in most all energy drinks such as "Redbull" and "monster".

Is turine bulls blood?

If you mean taurine or 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid: NO. It is similar to, but not actually an amino acid and is found mostly in the intestines. It is an additive to Red Bull energy drink. Thats as close as it comes to a bull connection.
