indeed it does. each successive layer contains less and less gas. (the last layer is almost like outer space actually) so yes the troposhere contains almost all atmospheric gas

Does the troposphere contains almost all of the mass of the atmosphere?

Correct, more than 90% of it

Which atmoshpheric layer contains most of themass of earths atmosphere?

The most of the mass of atmosphere is contained in troposphere. It contains most gases.

What per cent the gas carbon dioxide and CO found in troposphere?

About 99%. The atmosphere is pulled down by gravity, so almost all of it is in the lower layer of the troposphere. Above that, it gets extremely thin and gradually you transition to space in the exosphere.

What gases are found in the atmosphere what gases are found in the troposphere?

About 90% of the atmospheric mass is in the troposphere. You can tell because 90% of the pressure increase occurs in the troposphere. Pressure goes from zero in space to 100 mb at the tropopause to 1000 mb at the surface.

What is a the prefix of the troposphere and suffix?

AnswerThe troposphere is the lowest portion of Earth's atmosphere. It is the densest layer of the atmosphere and contains approximately 75% of the mass of the atmosphere and almost all the water vapor and aerosols. The troposphere extends from the Earth's surface up to the tropopause, where the stratosphere begins. The depth of the troposphere is greatest in the tropical regions (up to 20 km) and smallest at the poles (about 7 km in summer, indistinct in winter). The lower part, where friction on the Earth's surface influences with air flow, is the planetary boundary layer which may be up to 2 km high depending on the landform and time of day. The border of the troposphere and stratosphere, the tropopause, is an temperature inversion.Do not listen to this answer if you really want long answers go on www.info.combye! I'm just playing you can listen to the answers! Now bye!The word troposphere stems from the Greek "tropos" for "turning" or "mixing." The troposphere is the most turbulent part of the atmosphere and is the part of the atmosphere in which most weather phenomena are seen.

The layer that contains 90 percent of the total mass of the atmosphere?

There are a few layers to the atmosphere however the Troposphere is the largest part of the atmosphere containing 75% of its mass. However the Troposphere contains 99% of the water vapour on the planet as well as Earth's aerosols. It is also where all weather phenomenon will occur.
