I don't think the U.S army straight out lies to kids, I think they just make joining the army seem a lot more glamourous than it really is. The U.S. army doesn't lie. They may exaggerate some of the facts to get more people to join, but they don't lie. Almost all of what they tell children, or for that case anybody, is what you will see/ receive.
i actually did this on a calculator there are:4,460,747 people in the us army no lie!
kids lie to separate it from the truth so no harm will come to them
Absolutely not! That would be CRAZY! Army Snipers give away flowers to homeless kids...
Yes, but finding someone to watch your kids while you're away in Basic is your responsibility.
Sometimes parents must tell a small lie to get through. For example the child wants to go to Toys R Us and you have no money to do so. You can't go to browse because you know the kids will beg to get toys. So you tell a white lie that Toys R Us is closed. Telling lies is the wrong thing to do yet can be alright at the appropriate times.
there are 2 reasons.one is because they think war is fun and they lie about their age to get into the army and second reason is that the government makes them which isn't very likely
Usually a lot of kids do at one point in there life.
Parents lie to their kids because a parents job is to protect their kin for as long as they can. A good parent will go great lengths to make sure no harm is done to his or her kids.
Parents do not want to lie to their kids about things such as the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus but the reason why they opt to do the lying is because they want kids to have hope in things that other people might not have hope in.

The US Army, like the US Department of Defense, is supported by the tax payer. The US Army Corp of Engineers is part of the US Army; just like the US Army Artillery, or US Army Armor, or US Army Infantry.
