Yes. It gets it's water from the leaves it eats. so you don't need to give it separate water.
(by the way, it likes to eat clovers)
Not sure about that last answer since it really didn't offer any intelligent information, but woolly bears get the majority of their water through the plants they eat, and small bits caught in the grass/soil/leaves. There is a good read on them at this site:
http://www.asktheexterminator.com/Caterpillar/Woolly_Bear_Caterpillar.shtml
Specifically, it states: Make sure to add a small amount of water once every two weeks or so. Hope that helps.
they drink the dew of leaves
I have a wooly bear Caterpillar.
Yes
Wooly bear caterpillars have orange fuzz and a black body. The orange fuzz on a wooly bear caterpillar actually keeps the caterpillar warm in colder climates.
We cannot be sure, but beside us right now is an orange and black, banded, wooly caterpillar that we are pretty sure is a wooly bear caterpillar.
The wooly bear caterpillar, it can live up to 14 years before metamorphosing
The puss moth caterpillar has a furry light brown color and will turn into a puss moth. They are one of the most toxic caterpillars. Another furry caterpillar is the wooly bear but it is brown and black and it turns into a wooly bear tiger moth.
Put the water in a tiny bowl. Or use a medicine dropper. Or not waste your time doing such useless activities.
Frogs are the enemies of wooly bear caterpillars.
The treatment for a goat who ate a woolly bear caterpillar does not seem to exist. The caterpillar could cause digestive upset for the goat but does not seem to be a fatal issue.
they drink the dew off leaves but if you keep it in a jar than you can just dip a leaf into water and it'll drink it all the same.
I'm sorry it is really hard to answer this question. I'll look into it and give you an answer! :)
