There are several bulbs in this television not to be confused with a picture tube,it is possible that a bulb may need to be replaced.
The tv does indeed have a bulb inside of it. You will not have to replace it unless something goes wrong and its broken it may need to be replaced to work again.

we recently replaced the bulb in our 65" 1080p MItsub. WE KEPT GETTING THE RED LIGHT. We reset the tv with a safety pin and the reset button. But after 5 mins the lights flutter and the Tv auto turns off. What is wrong?
