vasodilatation reduces body temperature.
Blood vessels in the dermis of the skin aid in the regulation of body temperature by constricting (vasoconstricting) to maintain internal body temperature, or expanding (vasodilation) to release heat and lower body temperature.
Vasodilation is a mechanism for thermoregulation . It is used for cooling down body temperature . Increased body temperature stimulates vasodilation .It results in increased blood flow to skin to aid heat dissipation .
That means that your body temperature is lower than 37 degrees Celsius. It probably means you have been inactive for a while. 37 C or 98.6 F is the average body temperature, not a required temperature. You can raise it a bit with some vigourous exercise or lower it by relaxing.
Vasoconstriction and Vasodilation are a part of a body negative feedback, in which the body tries to restore homeostasis. Homeostatis is the function of keeping the internal body at it's general temperature (37 degrees Celsius). Without the negative feedback of Vasoconstriction and Vasodilation, the body would either be at a very low or very high temperature and this high/low temperature could cause death.

Yes eating spicy food can slighly raise your physical body temperature
Dermal vasodilation is a smooth muscle action triggered by the autonomic nervous system (and in particular the hypothalamus) when the body's temperature is raising. As the dermal blood vessels dilate (plump-up) with warm blood, heat is lost through the skin by radiation, convection and conduction.
Shiver. The muscle action will raise the temperature.
what are the signals for a raise in a women's body temperature
Corticotrpin is the harmone which increases vasodilation in our body. alcohol causes vasodilation
Sperm are kept at a lower temperature than the general body temperature.
To my knowledge, and after a quick browse through various medical pages and forums, I do not think Asthma will affect the body temperature (seldom, having an asthma attack might lower or raise your temperature as your body goes into "shock mode".) However, if anything, body temperature, I.E: lowering of the body temperature when sleeping or heightening of the temperature when exercising can be a trigger to asthma; but not the other way around.
