Suede is leather, which is the hide of an animal.
it depends on which backpack. most of their backpacks are made of canvas. Some have suede bottoms. They have also made leather backpacks.
Put a piece of newspaper over the wax. Use a warm iron on the newspaper. The newspaper will absorb the oil from the wax. You will need a lot of newspaper if it is a large spot.
Depending on where you live, there may be an oil recycler who will take it. Check with you local sanitation or garbage pick up companies. Often, auto supply stores will dispose of old petroleum products for you as well. If you only have a small amount of kerosene you may let it evaporate or burn it safely.

Luckily you can go directly to www.authenticuggboots.com/Ugg-boot-care-videos.html and watch a video about the best way to care for your boots. If you don't want to watch the video use the following instructions to protect your boots: 1) spray your boots with a suede/soft leather waterproofing solution (available at any shoe store), 2) Let the spray dry for about 20 minutes and then spray a 2nd coat, 3) use a sponge to apply an extra amount of the waterproofing solution (recommended if you live in a high precipitation climate)
The holy grail of leather waterproofers is SNO-SEAL, but it will make your boots look shinier and darker. Reviews on waterproofing that do not change the color or feel of your boots have mixed reviews. I am trying to research the best ones and haven't really found the best one for myself, but you could check out the "Granger G-Max Footwear Universal Waterproofer" (it is on Amazon) since the reviews specifically say that it does not change the boots.
My suede boots are very stylish this season. Although suede is a very boring color, it goes with most everything. (AKA suede is a color) Hope that helps
In general, no. It can, but it will leave you with a slick, sort of oily finish, which won't really look like suede anymore. For suede, the only thing you can do is use the modern sort of waterproofing sprays: there's various compositions, some of which might devolve the dyes in brightly coloured suede, so you should probably go to your local shoe repair shop and ask what's right for you.
It's a dark-grey suede Juicy Couture bag
I don't own Ugg, but wear a lot of leather and suede boots. If they are suede you want to protect them from water ( I don't wear suede in rain) and to get a suede brush. With the brush you can brush the nap up and this will help clean them. Don't use one of the sprays on them unless it states that it can be used on suede. The spray will flatten your nap on the suede, which is what you don't want. Smooth leather can be cleaned with a leather cleaner that is made for that purpose. Get a good one because it will clean and polish the leather.
If your faux suede has faded, the good news is that a simple fade is relatively easy to repair. Suede color is typically just on the surface, so fading is most likely the result of a cleaning process that took the color right off of it. All you need is a dye that will work on the type of faux suede you have and the proper application tools. However, before you dye the suede, it's a good idea to clean it if it's dirty. You'll find more info on how to do this in the related link.
To An extent, I wouldn't say waterproof, but they can get wet with the exception of perhaps maybe some discoloration, but spray them with a waterproof solution if ur really worried about ruining your shoes
You can, if you do not want them to look like suede shoes, and never want to get the paint off. When I was in high school, I painted my suede saddle shoes orange to wear to basketball games , because our school colors were orange and black. I got a lot of favorable comment from my friends and the shoes lasted until my feet outgrew them.
