there were seventy six melee weapons in the civil war.
No, all the weapons are guns. Some increase your melee damage due to having spikes or blades attached, there are however no pure melee weapons and no associated skill (a melee kill counts towards the proficiency level of whatever weapon is held at the time).
Take out your melee (if you have one) weapon ( E.G. knife) and lash out on them stabbing and cutting until they eventually shoot you
A weapon is any type of item used for hunting or inflicting harm during a conflict. They range from ranged weapons like guns, artillery, or arrows to melee weapons like knives, bayonets, or pikes.
It was your weapon!
The best melee weapon for non-members is probably the Gravite Rapier, in terms of damage per second. The weapon with the highest accuracy and strength for nonmembers is the Gravite 2h sword, though this weapon attacks much slower. Please note that both of these weapons require you to dungeoneer for quite a while, especially if your combat level is 90 or higher.

Personal choice. The scout has 4 primary Weapons, 5 Secondary weapons and 8 Melee weapons. So 160 different combinations. Most scout loadouts that I have seen are usually: Primary: Scattergun, or Short Stop Secondary: Bonk!, Milk or Pistol (Lugermorph) Melee: Sandman or Atomiser

Go to the companion wheel, its in the top left quarter. It should be "Change to melee/long-rang weapon. You can now alternate and change what type of weapons your companion uses.
Weapons that require very little technology or expenditure to use. This applies to things like baseball bats and knives, as they are conventional and can be found anywhere. Essentially it is an improvised weapon, which can vary from a stick and rock to makeshift guns or melee weapons.
Roughly speaking, the higher the level requirement to wield a weapon, the more damage-per-second it does on average. Thus, a tier-90 weapon will do significantly much damage than a tier-80 weapon, which will do significantly more damage than a tier-70 weapon, etc.In general, I suggest you use the highest tier of weapons for which you have the required level, and which you can afford. What weapon you choose will also depend whether you want to fight with melee, magic, or ranged; this, in turn, will depend on what you are fighting against, since most monsters have specific weaknesses. The tier-90 weapons are the noxious staff (for magic), the noxious longbow (for ranged), and three different types of drygore weapons (for melee).
